GBSB Global was honored to congratulate this year’s graduating Class of 2018. The graduation ceremony on June 28th at the Hotel Alimara in Barcelona commemorated our diverse student bodies’ achievements over the past year of studies. The students selected two fellow classmates, Ashkan Ahmadi and Flavia Mendes, to represent them as their Class of 2018 moderators for the ceremony.
Antonio Rodriguez Engelmann, Managing Director and Yelena Smirnova, Dean welcomed students, family and friends from across the globe. Professors Dean Manu Monasterio, Victoriano Travieso, Gilberto Palmerín, Willem Van Rossem and Edgar Sánchez attended the ceremony contributing to the valedictory address.

Graduation is not about an end, but merrily a new beginning ushering students out into the real world to follow their dreams and launch their careers. There were a whole host of awards given to students recognizing their astounding achievements and service over the course of their studies. Student Council Awards were given to Camille Jarrin, Master of Arts in Tourism and Hospitality Management, Akua Afriyie, Master of Arts in Tourism and Hospitality Management, Ashkan Ahmadi, Master of Business Administration, Richelle Danyse Buckner, Master of Business Administration, Katalin Leimeter, Master of Business Innovation and Ilia Rogachev, Master of Business Innovation.
For the first time in GBSB Global’s history, the school gave out Student Club Certificate Awards to Ashkan Ahmadi, MBA, for the Excel Club and Kristina Kudlickova, Master of Arts in Fashion and Luxury Management for the Sports Club. Other awards were given as follows:
