A certified LEGO Serious Play facilitator, Castells focused on innovation, business development, marketing, service and product design, incorporating LEGO Serious Play techniques in a fun and creative environment hosted at the GBSB Global Business School in Barcelona.
In a recently held company presentation at GBSB Global Business School Barcelona on 26 November, 2015, representatives from Orange Buddies, an international online marketing company presented the company´s profile, objectives and expressed interest in hiring proactive and highly motivated students for the position of interns from nationalities like Finland, Italy, France, UK and Germany. The presentation was followed by a formal interaction and interview of the interested students.
On May 22, 2015 the GBSB Global Business School Barcelona students visited Hewlett-Packard Research & Development Laboratory and Demo Center in Barcelona. The visit was planned as part of industrial visits program for 2014-2015 academic year and was organized by our professor of Enterprise Resource Planning course – Ana Gonzalvo. The students got an exclusive access into HP laboratory and could see the recent developments in the area of HP technology. The group from Global Business School Barcelona was attended by HP managers who prepared a lecture on the subject of innovation and the way HP implements innovation into their products and processes.
On May 6-7 2015 GBSB Global Business School in Barcelona hosted B.I.T. Fashion (Business, Innovation, Fashion) Conference organized by MA in Fashion and Luxury Business Management students Daniele Cleim, David Hornacek and Rotem Zarfati. The conference gathered professionals, famous fashion bloggers and students interested in fashion industry. Within speakers were Sebastian Reyes (Tiffany & Co.), textile designer Cristina Grace Bifano, Paola Tecchiati (Prada) and others.
GBSB Global Business School Barcelona students won the second place in the International Business Ethics Case Competition which took place in April in New Orleans, USA. It is the second time the students of our business school in Barcelona become finalists of the most prestigious competition in the area of business ethics.

Behind the scenes of the glamour and passion is the marketing department, which was kind enough to invite the Tourism and Hospitality Management and Marketing master's students from our international business school in Barcelona for a presentation of the world behind the brand.
This past February, students at the GBSB Global Business School participated in the Global Study Trip to Paris, a two-day trip to the French capital to visit various important institutions. A GBSB Barcelona professor guided current students throughout the city to hear lectures and discuss French economics and politics at the American School of Paris. Day Two consisted of seminars at the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development and the UNESCO headquarters. And at night, students were free to explore the amazing City of Lights, taking advantage of being only a two-hour flight away from Barcelona.
GBSB Global Business School Barcelona hosted a workshop program for “GUST”- Gulf University of Science and Technology” on Monday, January 12th. An enthusiastic group of the GUST’s Accounting Club analyzed issues of Corporate Governance, Ethics and Fraud. The workshop was led by Julia Sokolova, a qualified economist, and a fellow member of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), London. The students had a chance to experience the international environment of our business school of Barcelona.

Under the auspices of Kuwait's Minister of State for Cabinet Affairs Sheikh Muhammad Al-Abdullah Al-Mubarak Al-Sabah a delegation of 30 Kuwait government officials participated in the training which was delivered and organized by GBSB Global Business School.
