PROGRAM STRUCTURE:
The proposed online Ph .D. program is a three-year course designed to develop students' core research skills and broaden their knowledge of Innovation Management before embarking on the Ph.D. dissertation. In addition to traditional research methods modules, first-year Ph.D. students will take a required module in Research in Entrepreneurship and Innovation Management and one of the elective modules: either Knowledge Management in Learning Organisations or Artificial Intelligence and the Future. These modules are designed to give students further ideas for their research by exposing them to the most current research agenda.

During the remaining two years, students are engaged in research, data collection and analysis, and, of course, the design and writing of their dissertation. The goal of the program is to help students acquire not only research skills, but also the competencies that are essential from an academic career perspective and that could help them move better within or outside the academic world. Such competencies include knowing how to network with members of the scientific community, how to present research in public settings, and how to publish a paper in a peer-reviewed journal. Therefore, by the end of the second year of the program, students are expected to report on their progress in both research and professional development, including participation in conferences, workshops, and other similar activities. During the third year of the Ph.D. program, students are expected to submit at least one scholarly article for publication prior to presenting their dissertation at the Pre-Defence.

HOW TO APPLY
ENTRY REQUIREMENTS
- European Master’s degree or a recognised equivalent at EQF/MQF Level 7;
Or
A foreign degree from outside the EHEA equivalent to EQF/MQF Level 7; - An initial 2000-word research proposal outlining the research theme, aim and objectives, possible gap/s and proposed research methodology;
- A Personal Statement of 500-1000 words outlining applicants’ individual competences and strengths and providing their reflections regarding the expectations and value of the programme as well as to their personal advancement and career development.
Proof of proficiency in English
- Native English speaker;
- TOEFL – Minimum score: 232 (computer-based), 90 (internet-based), or 576 (paperbased);
- IELTS - Minimum score: 6.5;
- Cambridge ESOL – Level 1;
- Cambridge CPE and CAE – Minimum score: 176;
- Duolingo English Test (DET) – Minimum score: 120;
- Pearson Test of English (PTE) – Minimum score: 61;
- English as the language of instruction during previous studies in the formal educational system. The student must have completed at least one year of classes taught in English.Taking English language classes alone is not sufficient;
- Internal English proficiency testing at GBSB Global.
NOTE: Formal English proficiency test score certificates must be no older than 2 years.

Dates and Fees
The tuition fee is:
- 12 000 EUR (Europe applicants) for 3 years, to be paid in 3 equal tranches of 4 000 EUR.
- 24 000 EUR (non-Europe applicants) for 3 years, to be paid in 3 equal tranches of 8 000 EUR.
GBSB Global alumni will receive a 20% scholarship (max one in a cohort).
GBSB Global faculty and staff will receive 30% scholarship (max one in a cohort).
