As part of its continued effort to disseminate accurate information about our business degree programs and business education in general, GBSB Global Business School is pleased to announce the recent expansion of our Web site into Russian. GBSB Global Business School is the first business school in Barcelona to launch a complete Russian-language version of its Web site (URL www.global-business-school.ru) The new site addresses the populations of Russia and the Russian-speaking countries, with the aim of ensuring that information about business schools in Barcelona is accessible and available as widely as possible.
Russian is the 8th most spoken language in the world by number of native speakers and the 4th by total number of speakers. The language is spoken in Russia, Belarus, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine, Moldova, Latvia, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Estonia. Russian is one of the six official languages of the United Nations. GBSB Global Business School offers studies of the Russian language as part of the Bachelor of Business Administration and masters degree programs along with other global languages offered on our campus: Spanish and Chinese.
Every year more and more students from Russia and Russian speaking countries pack their bags and go to study abroad. The most popular destination is Europe. The Internet is positioned to be an international mechanism for communication and information exchange, the precursor of a global information superhighway. More information, however, also results in more complexity. At GBSB Global Business School we believe that the new Russian-language Web site will help prospective new and continuing students and their parents from Russia and CIS find suitable educational options within business schools in Barcelona and generally within universities in Spain.
Our new site in Russian is intended to be as “inclusive” and as “open” as possible. The content of the site is similar to that of the English-language version and allows users to go through the descriptions of all academic programs that we offer (Bachelor of Business Administration and masters degree programs) and communicate with us in the Russian language.
At GBSB Global Business School we are sure that the launching of the Web site in the Russian language will allow us to communicate information on innovative business education in Barcelona, Spain to a large audience of Russian-speakers throughout the world, thus strengthening our global standing in the area of quality management education and within other business schools in Barcelona and international universities in Spain.
