U-Multirank is a multidimensional approach to ranking of higher education. Funded by the European Commission, the Bertelsmann Foundation and Banco Santander, U-Multirank collects data from 92 countries and compares over 1,800+ higher education institutions worldwide from research intensive universities and small specialized colleges to universities of applied sciences, art and music academies, business schools and more. U-Multirank measures the institution’s strengths, provides comparisons, benchmarking, and performance analysis to help prospective students find the best match for their future studies.
U-Multirank is offering a unique student perspective, as it spans across 5,300 faculties and over 11,800 study programs across the globe. When it comes to performance profiling, U-Multirank compares higher education institutions based on five main dimensions of university activity: (1) teaching and learning, (2) research, (3) knowledge transfer, (4) international orientation and (5) regional engagement. Overall, it provides more than 30 indicators.
Among all organizations participating, the U-Multirank 2020 edition focused on 79 higher education institutions in Spain. This number covers nearly all top Spanish universities and business schools. GBSB Global Business School has also been part of the U-Multirank 2020 evaluation process, participating in various activities and providing data to build the school’s profile.
