Last Friday, February 19th, GBSB Global was joined by Sarah Blackhurst, Club Operations Associate, and Kate Hough, Event Manager, as Guest Speakers on behalf of the leading Liverpool Football Club - the defending champions of the Premier League, current European and World Champions!
Starting with an introduction to the Club’s History, the lecturers went on to cover a variety of important topics, from a detailed LFC facilities overview, Operational Team structure, Annual Events Planning & Management (football and non-football) to Marketing & Community Engagement Strategies, concluding with sharing one’s Sports Management Career experience and giving Careers advice to our students.
During the following Q&A session, GBSB Global students inquired about the effects of the pandemic on the LFC operations and Event Management in general, also asking for advice on how to deal with stress, useful interview tips and much more. Two best questions won official LFC prizes!
