On February 15, 2013 GBSB Global Business School participated in the Forum on International Education organized and supported by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Russian Federation Federal State Institution "Centre of International Educational Activities”. The purpose of the forum was to review and discuss the present strategies and successful practices in the field of international education programs for both Russian and foreign students and to establish new connections and partner relations between Russian and foreign institutions.
The Participants of the International Forum were foreign and Russian executives, experts of government and social organizations, funds, scientific and educational organizations, PR\Marketing presidents and vice-presidents of institutions of higher education, faculty deans, international program organizers, directors and leading experts of educational and consulting agencies specializing in international education.
During the sessions and round tables, the forum participants discussed the existing business strategies and successful models of international educational programs for Russian and foreign students; particularly marketing and promoting study abroad programs in Russia; engaging and recruiting foreign and Russian students on international programs of double diplomas and other relevant topics.
The forum work was support for further development of the national inter-university program of international internships "Common Cause" and a joint project to attract foreign students to Russian universities "Education in Russia ". Information about international programs the participants of the Forum will be published during the year.
