New Academic Year has started at GBSB Global Business School. We welcome every single student and are excited for them to have joined our Global Family! As our October 2019 Intakes go through the process of Orientation and have their first classes in Barcelona and Madrid, we wanted to provide you with statistical data on what it means to study at GBSB Global, an International Business School in Spain.
Every year, GBSB Global Business School welcomes students from new countries and expands its international student body. We are proud to say that, as of today, we have students from all over the world. New intakes spread from Europe to Asia to North and South Americas, from Australia to Africa and the Middle East. With this October 2019 intake, however, GBSB Global has added two more countries to its lists: students from Aruba (Caribbean island) and St. Pierre and Miquelon (self-governing Atlantic territorial) will be joining us on campus for the first time.
In terms of academics, this year’s intake is mostly interested in our Marketing Programs. The importance of marketing in today’s company eco-system is rapidly growing, hence the increased demand. Moreover, marketing roles have diversified tremendously. Every year, new positions and careers are appearing thanks to this fast pace market. Due to that, there are so many more opportunities and career paths to choose from with a degree in Marketing.
Historically, newcomers join GBSB Global Business School to specialize in Tourism & Hospitality and Fashion. The programs provide our students practical hands-on experience and agile methodologies and year after year prove GBSB Global’ market leadership in these study fields.
In regard to other programs offered at GBSB Global Business School, our October’19 intake shows an increased interest in Entrepreneurship. Those statistics are conditioned by worldwide trends and rapid development of the startup culture. Places like Madrid and Barcelona, newly realized European startup hubs, attract business professionals with aspiring ideas to our campuses. Other program specializations include Finance, Operations, and Digital Business.
