Egyptians living in Spain only amounted to 3,634 residents in 2006, but have since increased in number over the past decade. Here at GBSB Global, our student body is made up of 70+ nationalities, and many of whom are from Egypt. As an internationally recognized business school, we also often attend educational fairs and seminars in Egypt catering to those students who seek to expand their horizons studying abroad in Spain.
Feeling at home is not hard at GBSB Global Business School because essentially everyone is from somewhere else. Even our Spanish students are not from the city. This fosters a community spirit where students learn to support one another which also creates cultural empathy.
These two resources provide our Egyptian students with a groundwork in which to inquire about particular activities, events and other relevant information you may need to make your stay in Barcelona or Madrid more comfortable and valuable.

The Egyptian Association in Spain is a nonprofit association encompassing the Egyptians living throughout Spain. Its primary objective is to meet the needs of the Egyptian immigrant, or expat population and help them assimilate and live happily within the Spanish borders. Another central objective is twofold, and focuses on the dissemination of culture of Egyptians living in Spain, Europe and Latin America, while raising awareness of the Spanish and Latin American culture in Egypt and other Arab countries.
Many of the following activities take place in various regions around Spain, among others:
- Conferences, colloquia, exhibitions, concerts, excursions, or other activities that strengthen the relationship between Spain and Egypt and the bonds of the associates.
- Cultural, Scientific, Industrial, and Commercial exchanges.
- Exchange of Students.
- Creation of an aid fund for the promotion of trade.
GBSB Global seeks to help students studying abroad in Spain feel at home in their new city, whether that be in Madrid or Barcelona. If you have further questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.
