GBSB Global became the first higher education organization in Spain accredited by Microsoft demonstrating our steadfast commitment to innovation.
The Microsoft Imagine Academy program offers GBSB Global students the official training within the Microsoft Office Suite, a package of office productivity software released by Microsoft, empowering students to become proficient with the Microsoft tools. The Microsoft Imagine Academy also helps prepare students to pass internationally recognized Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) certification exams which can have a positive impact when procuring employment.
The move to become an official Microsoft School was transformational. This accreditation truly embodies the school’s commitment to innovation and the advancements in technology, providing students with a modern, cutting edge learning environment.
GBSB Global Business School was selected by ACCA as a partner to develop the Spanish market, and became the first computer based examination (CBE) center in Barcelona.
The Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, ACCA, is the largest accountancy body in the world, with operations in 180 countries, and its qualifications are the internationally recognized standard for finance professionals across the globe. GBSB Global’s MBA & Bachelor/Master in Finance students have a unique advantage, with all finance programs aligned to the ACCA requirements, the school prepares students with the competencies needed to earn the ACCA certification from levels F1 to F4.
All GBSB Global’s undergraduate & graduate finance students can take advantage of this recognition and become qualified through the ACCA in addition to earning their BBA or master degree. GBSB Global signed an agreement with the world renown University of Alcala as a partner university, offering students the opportunity to earn a dual degree in Digital Business.
Master of Science in Digital Business students studying in Madrid will not only earn a GBSB Global degree, but will also earn a dual degree from the University of Alcala, one of the top ranked public universities in Spain, according to an evaluation of various Spanish and international standings.
At the end of the 2016-2017 academic year, GBSB Global revealed the evolution of its innovative brand identity, including a modernized and simplified update to its iconic global image. The school revamped its brand identity to reflect its truly global focus on the world of business education and innovation.

Pillar 1 Growth
Coming up in October, GBSB Global will unveil two new programs in Digital Marketing and Financial Management, Internet Finance and On-line Banking. These programs were designed to meet the increasing demands of digital talent across the globe.
Also coming up this fall in Madrid, GBSB Global is excited to be opening its second campus in a vibrant, multicultural, cosmopolitan capital and European business center that promotes professional networking, high-quality employment prospects and career advancement.
To suit another global demand in the higher education industry, GBSB Global Business School is excited to launch on-line degrees starting October 2017, leveraging the use of Microsoft technologies.
Pillar 2 Innovation & Quality
GBSB Global’s commitment toward providing quality education is reflected with the already ongoing accreditation process with ECBE, the European Council for Business Education, an international non-profit educational body committed to supporting higher education institutions and professional training organizations to develop outstanding, innovative programs which emboldens students to foster the skills, knowledge and experience required to succeed in today's dynamic global market.
In line with the digital transformation, GBSB Global has begun to create a new student mobile app meant to increase student engagement and provide students with a highly digitalized experience. The Microsoft platform and all academic services will be digitalized, following a mobile first approach, to aid in the overall efficiency of the school, and transforming the way in which students interreact in the sphere of academia.
Pillar 3 Facilities
It seems like nuts and bolts, but our student body has increased tenfold, and in order to accommodate the added numbers, GBSB Global has added 3 new classrooms to the campus in Barcelona. This is more than 300 meters² of learning space to comfortably educate tomorrow’s future leaders.
To further the expansion of the GBSB Global Business School campus in Barcelona, the garden will get a facelift, renovating the current space to be a cool, tranquil oasis in the heart of the city where students can go to relax, wind down, study, and socialize outside of the classroom.
This summer, GBSB Global is happy to incorporate into their front desk operations a new videowall meant to enhance communications with students through interactive displays of videos on general school information, academic events, and social activities.
The reception area is not the only area to see a technological boost. Classrooms will also feature new digital whiteboards that professors will use during their classroom lectures, workshops, and projects.
Our future is bright, and we are excited to complete these pillars. GBSB Global is progressive, changing the way business schools not only educate its students but offers the infrastructure and support to set them on the fast track to success.
