Between the 17th of September and the 4th of October 2021, GBSB Global has been rather busy welcoming excited new students from all over the world across all 3 physical campuses: in Spain, and for the first time ever, in Malta.
We are also pleased to see that more and more students trust us with learning at distance, adding to the ever-evolving Online campus, where some opted for the newly available Blended learning option, allowing students to combine on-campus education with online learning at a preferred schedule, to work around their current commitments in the most convenient manner.
This year, we also have some newly joined Bachelor students who preferred the Multicampus learning option, where they will begin their 3-year program online, and then relocate to Barcelona, and finally Malta, each consecutive year. A great option for travel enthusiasts – we hope this lot truly enjoys their living abroad experience in not one, but two foreign countries, whilst they work towards obtaining their official qualifications with GBSB Global.
With diversity and inclusion being permanently at the forefront of our focus, we are excited to have achieved a 50% female/50% male ratio in this year’s student groups, whose geographical spread is also rather impressive. See for yourself:
Program wise, we are thrilled to have our first batch of students embarking on the new disruptive Master in Blockchain Management.
Amongst other selections, students were particularly keen on the all-time favorites: MA Fashion & Luxury Management and MSc Sports Management, with a growing interest in various digital programs, including MSc Digital Marketing, MSc Digital Finance, and MSc Digital Business and MSc Digital Education Management.
Average student age by program type ranged between 19 and 25. Despite being quite young, our new talent comes from rather different educational backgrounds from Economics to Neuroscience.
Looking at Master and MBA levels, we are proud to have been joined by so many budding professionals with real business experience in Finance, Administration, Management, Marketing, Operations and Sales, working for huge multinational companies, such as HP, Nestle, Pfizer, Salesforce, Johnson & Johnson, Vodafone and many others.
Impressively, 36% of these students have already gained managerial experience with up to 140 employees under their supervision.
All in all, we are beyond excited about the start of this Academic Year, and we can’t wait to see what it brings in the long run. Lastly, don’t forget to check out our Facebook and Instagram to see the most recent photos.
