Transfer Students
GBSB Global Business School with campuses in Malta, Madrid, Barcelona and online is an international European college offering professional programs in English. Our business school welcomes transfer students and believes the inclusion of these individuals into our dynamic student body enriches the learning environment and promotes the flow of talent.
GBSB Global Business School follows the Bologna Process which facilitates the mobility of students from Europe. Under the Bologna Process and a point system, known as the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS), students are able to transfer and study at European Universities without the need of interrupting their undergraduate or graduate degrees. Here, at GBSB Global, we also have substantial experience reviewing transcripts and processing applications from non-EU universities or colleges that do not follow regulations set out by ECTS.
Where do I start?
All undergraduate (Bachelor’s) and graduate (Master’s) programs at GBSB Global Business School are open to transfer students. When deciding on your course of study, you should take into account your previous academic experience. To increase the likelihood that your courses will transfer, it is advised that you follow a similar program. If you were pursuing a non-business discipline before, you may also apply as a transfer student, however do keep in mind that less courses may be transferred.
What are the admission requirements for transfer students?
Transfer students who have accumulated a minimum of 20 ECTS or 200 university contact hours at the time of application may be considered for admission. Prospective transfer students who have earned less than 20 ECTS (200 contact hours) may also be considered as transfer students based on their previous high school academic record, pending the successful completion of their first semester of university coursework. All students, no matter if you are transferring or not, are required to submit proof of proficiency in the English language.
(If your English Language level is not sufficient, you can first join our intensive English Language Preparation course before starting your program studies.)
