The French stylist Philippe Venoux has 25 years of experience in the world of hairdressing, styling VIP clients. In 1989, Philippe opened his Dessange salon in Barcelona, the first of its kind in the city at the time. Today, Philippe Venoux's elegant hairdressing salon is located on Bori I Fontesa street, in the heart of uptown Barcelona, where he develops and hones his global concept.
Philippe Venoux’s expert hands have manicured the hair of esteemed clients and rock stars like Lou Reed, Joe Jackson, Prince, Bryan Ferry, Nina Hagen and Boy George. Not to mention, talented models and beautiful women like Ines Sastre, Rosario Nadal and Chiara Mastroianni.
It was with great pleasure that a select group of students from GBSB Global’s MA in Fashion and Luxury Business Management program were asked to model for this famous hair designer. A long-time client and collaborator on many projects with Philippe Venoux, Angels Bronsoms, also a student of the MA in Fashion and Luxury Business Management program helped organize the student exchange.
A special project, photographed by Sam Decout was arranged to help promote the salon at the same time providing GBSB Global students with the rare opportunity to model in front of the camera. Dana Aljohar, Rafayel Cocuereaus, and Irena Valentinova Ignatova were the students that participated. Rather than paying exorbitant fees for a professional agency, this exchange was a win-win for both Philippe Venoux and the MA in Fashion and Luxury Business Management students who can use this experience as a reference on their curriculum vitae.
