GBSB Global Places Third in PortalMBA’s 2026–2027 Ranking of MBA Programs in Barcelona
The on-campus MBA in Barcelona joins ESADE and ESIC in the top three of a ranking based on the interest of more than 50,000 prospective MBA students.
GBSB Global Business School’s MBA in Barcelona has ranked third in the MBA Barcelona category of the PortalMBA 2026–2027 Ranking, published on October 27, 2026. The program shares the category’s top three with ESADE’s Full Time MBA and ESIC’s Executive MBA.
Now in its 16th year, the PortalMBA ranking recognizes MBA programs taught by business schools and universities in Spain. It is based on the behavior of more than 50,000 prospective students who used the platform over the past academic year: their inquiries, visits, and other signs of interest in specific programs, subject to quality controls. Results are published as a general ranking and across eight categories, including Madrid, Barcelona, and Online.
Because the ranking tracks where candidates focus their search, the result reflects the program’s appeal among professionals choosing where to study an MBA in Barcelona.
The 15-month, English-taught MBA combines three terms on campus in Barcelona’s Eixample district with a final phase completed online. Throughout the program, students apply their learning to a comprehensive real-world project. They then complete a capstone case study built on their chosen elective track: Artificial Intelligence and the Future, Sustainability and Governance, or Consumer Experience in the Digital Environment.
Studying on campus places MBA candidates in one of Europe’s most dynamic business cities, in a classroom that brings together students from more than 100 nationalities.
The result adds to recent recognition for GBSB Global’s MBA. The program was included in Forbes España’s 2026 list of Spain’s best business programs, ranked among the top 10 MBA programs in Spain in the QS MBA Rankings 2026, and named by Poets & Quants in 2025 as one of Europe’s top five MBA programs with an AI concentration.
