This summer, GBSB Global Business School proudly launched the highly anticipated Generative AI Applied to Business (Foundation Level) Summer School. The one-week short course, held in the vibrant city of Barcelona, combined cutting-edge AI technologies with strategic business insights to help participants stay ahead of their competition in the fast world of business today.
The program covers a comprehensive range of topics designed to equip participants with foundational knowledge and practical applications of AI in business from the Foundations of Artificial Intelligence (AI), to Ethical Use of AI, learning about the ethical considerations and responsibilities in AI deployment.
Creativity and problem-solving were enhanced through the interactive Lego Serious Play Workshop. The course demonstrated the use of AI in Marketing and Customer Experience, showing how AI can improve marketing strategies and customer interactions. Additionally, it identified potential opportunities and challenges in implementing AI, offering insights on overcoming obstacles in AI adoption.
The program included analyzing real-world examples of AI applications across various industries through case studies. Participants showcased their understanding and application of AI in their individual Project Presentations, culminating with certificate distribution to recognize their achievements.
In addition to the intensive coursework, participants enjoyed a variety of extracurricular activities to enrich their experience abroad. They explored the cultural and historical landmarks of Barcelona through a guided city tour, gained insights into how leading businesses in the city are utilizing AI during company visits, and relaxed with an afternoon picnic in the famous Parc de la Ciutadella. Last but not least - fun content creation, tapping into the latest trends in digital media through Reels filming.
