New Year, New Term

January 9th, 2017 marked the start of the new academic term at GBSB Global Business School in Barcelona. A week filled with information sessions and team building activities wrapped up with a capstone, welcome drink on Friday evening, January 13th, at The George Payne Irish Bar on Plaça d'Urquinaona in the heart of downtown Barcelona.

A celebratory affair bringing new and current students together to meet one another, mix and mingle, and create fantastic memories. Getting ready for stimulating new experiences, students can plan for a full term of engaging social events, academic fairs, and conferences from FITUR 2017 International Tourism Trade Fair in Madrid for students mastering in tourism and hospitality management to company presentations, like the event scheduled on Tuesday, January 17th with Loftus Bradford, a fast growing, international boutique executive search firm working in the international marketplace organized for the entire student body.

A lot of exciting changes are in store at GBSB as well. GBSB Global Business School Barcelona’s Orientation Week January 9th-13th served to set the stage for an extremely successful academic term and beginning to 2017! Students agree, this wonderful social event fostered new friendships within a diverse student body and created lasting memories, commemorating the start to a grand adventure in Barcelona!
