On February 13-14, 2013 graduate students at GBSB Global Business School visited Geneva, Switzerland with the purpose of participating in the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development (UNCTAD) as well as getting to know other institutions of the United Nations such as United Nations Development Program (UNDP), United Nations Environment Program (UNEP), United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) where the students interested in the non-profit sector where offered internships. As part of the trip the students also visited the World Trade Organization and had a chance to discuss the WTO´s current challenges and future plans.
During the trip the students were accompanied by the professor of Ethics and Responsibility at GBSB Global Business School Barcelona Roger Lloret Blackburn, an expert of international humanitarian law, international human rights law and a board member of the United Nations Volunteering to the Center for African and Global Peace.
