On Friday March 22nd our GBSB Global students spent the day at Geneva Switzerland where they got a chance to visit two of the worlds most respected organizations, first off, the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development and also, the World Trade Organization.
In the morning students were welcomed at the visitor's entrance of the UNCTAD, where they completed their registration, followed by a meeting session with representatives. Students also had a guest speaker Henrique Pacini discuss the topic a “Green Economy”.
The UNCTAD main goal and work is to promote peace, human-rights, and over all well-being on global scale. It is a great reference for our students to see and visit no matter what speciality they are studying.
After this visit, students had a break for lunch before making their way to the WTO where they were given a tour and view into this prestigious organization. Their main objective is to manage the development of balanced and efficient international intellectual property that helps foster innovation and ingenuity around the globe.
These types of trips to institutes and organizations are normally closed to the general public, but the relations GBSB Global Business School has established with these institutions allow for these visits to be arranged and to keep occurring every year.
At GBSB Global, we take pride in cultivating a network of influential organizations, groups and individuals to add value to our students overall academic experience. Moreover, these unique connections and experiences can lead to amazing opportunities after graduation.
