GBSB Global Business School is buzzing with excitement as three of their brightest students, Jai, Weronika, and Elena, have advanced to the local semifinals of the prestigious L'Oréal global competition Brandstorm.
Brandstorm, designed to recruit the best young talent from around the world, is a prestigious opportunity for young business minds to display their skills and creativity.
To enter the competition, teams had to submit a pitch deck outlining their ideas for a new product or service that would revolutionize the beauty industry. They also had to meet a set of stringent selection criteria designed to encourage innovation, sustainability, and inclusivity in the beauty industry.
This year, the competition was centered around "New codes of Beauty” with students showcasing their creativity, business acumen and technical skills in fields such as AR, VR, AI (Artificial Intelligence) and Metaverse.
Jai, Weronika, and Elena impressed the judges with their innovative ideas and strategic approach to the challenge. Their hard work and perseverance have paid off, earning them a place in the semifinals taking place on March 16.
The winners will be offered a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to participate in a 3-month intrapreneurship program in the L'Oréal global offices in Paris. This invaluable experience will enable them to develop their projects under the guidance of L'Oréal experts, in the heart of the world-renowned beauty industry.
