SPORTS EVENT MANAGEMENT
CAPSTONE MASTER PROJECT:
A practical group project in which the students perform an original research on a specific topic of interest in the area of marketing management.

LEARNING METHODOLOGY
GBSB Global Business School offers its MSc in Sports Management in Madrid students and future alumni a chance to participate with many local, regional, and national sports organizations. During the studies, students attend business workshops and have multiple industrial visits to sports organizations in Madrid. BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT MANAGER
The Business Development Manager plans and implements sales and customer retention and works industriously to meet defined business development goals.
EVENTS & CLUBS COORDINATOR
The Events/Clubs Coordinators take a great responsibility in planning every single detail when it comes to preparation of any sports event, team, or other facilities for a particular event. This person makes all arrangements for other club activities like special events, dinner parties, sports conferences, receptions, and open houses.
SPORTS AGENT
Professionals that act as business managers for individual athletes and represent them in contract negotiations and managing their finances. Sports agents conduct contract negotiations, public relations matters, and budgets. They also secure additional revenue sources for the athlete, such as endorsements with brands.
SPORTS GOODS MANAGER
These managers are responsible for maintaining, ordering, and inventorying athletic gear and apparel. They deal with everything from fitting football shoulder pads and helmets to sharpening figure skates to getting the team’s laundry done.
ADMISSION AND FEES
To be qualified for admission to Master in Sports Management in Madrid, you must:
Have earned a Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) or higher;
be in the process of finalizing your Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent),
or demonstrate a high level of relevant professional experience
Proof of Proficiency in the English Language:
- English as a native language;
- TOEFL - Minimum score: 213 (computer based), 79/93 (internet based), or 550 (paper based);
- IELTS - Minimum score: 6.5;
- Cambridge ESOL, Certificate in Advanced English (CAE) - Minimum score: C1;
- English as the language of instruction during previous studies in the formal educational system;
- Internal English level testing at GBSB Global.

If payments are not paid by the deadlines, a penalty fee of 5% of the remaining tuition amount will be charged.
