A visionary leader in business education

Antonio Rodríguez Engelmann is a transformational leader in global business education, known for his strategic vision and innovation. As Managing Director of GBSB Global Business School, he drives academic excellence, digital transformation and internationalization to position GBSB Global at the forefront of modern business education. Outside of GBSB Global, Antonio is Head of Business Development at Ivaen Education, leading initiatives in program development, institutional partnerships and student recruitment worldwide. Previously, Antonio spent more than a decade at Accenture, where he advised Fortune 500 companies on technology strategy and business innovation. His ability to anticipate industry trends and develop breakthrough solutions has defined his career.

Antonio holds degrees from the Polytechnic University of Catalonia (UPC), ESADE Business School and the Open University of Catalonia (UOC), reinforcing his expertise at the intersection of technology, business and education.

Advisory Board

GBSB Global’s esteemed Advisory Board is composed of industry and education experts from Malta, Spain, and other countries, representing a range of professional disciplines. The Advisory Board provides guidance and direction to GBSB Global’s faculty, staff, administration, and institution on complex issues related to trends and research in our areas of focus.

As an organization, GBSB Global is a pioneer in business education and continues to revolutionize its teaching methods. The Advisory Board exemplifies global diversity and fosters collaboration and networking among the organization’s leadership. This diversity enables Board members to oversee a range of disciplines and deliver academic programs that prepare students for highly competitive international careers.

As advocates for the communities in which they serve in Malta and Europe, Board members act as liaisons, communicating vital information and providing independent and unbiased advice to the Executive Committee from relevant stakeholders, assisting in the identification of key activities, events and investments. Meetings are held semi-annually and are chaired by the Advisory Board with mandatory attendance by the Global Managing Director and other key members.
