About
Building on the success of its inaugural edition, InnoVision 2026 marks the second chapter of a growing Indo-European academic initiative dedicated to advancing scholarly dialogue on the future of business in an increasingly complex and uncertain world. Hosted by GBSB Global Business School, this edition strengthens Europe’s role as a hub for critical reflection, strategic foresight, and innovation-driven leadership.
As global systems face unprecedented volatility, driven by technological disruption, geopolitical shifts, climate risks, and social transformation, traditional business models and leadership paradigms are being fundamentally challenged. InnoVision 2026 responds to this reality by creating a platform for scholars, policymakers, educators, and industry leaders to rethink business through the lenses of complexity theory, foresight capabilities, responsible leadership, and systemic innovation. Designed as a hybrid international conference, InnoVision 2026 aims to foster interdisciplinary research, cross-border collaboration, and actionable insights that support resilient organizations and sustainable futures.

Complexity, Systems Thinking, and Strategic Foresight
As business environments become increasingly non-linear and interdependent, this track examines organizations as complex adaptive systems. Building on complexity theory and systems thinking, it explores how strategic foresight, scenario planning, and anticipatory governance support decision-making under deep uncertainty and long-term strategic alignment.
Leadership, Governance, and Decision-Making in Complex Environments
This track focuses on leadership and governance as sensemaking and relational processes rather than purely instrumental functions. In complex environments, leaders must navigate ethical dilemmas, competing stakeholder demands, and institutional pressures while enabling organizational adaptability and legitimacy.
Innovation, Digital Transformation, and Emerging Technologies
This track examines innovation and digital transformation as socio-technical processes embedded in organizational and institutional contexts. While emerging technologies such as AI and analytics reshape strategy and work, they also introduce new ethical, governance, and resilience challenges.
Sustainability, ESG, and Long-Term Value Creation
This track positions sustainability and ESG as strategic and systemic challenges rather than compliance-driven practices. Drawing on stakeholder theory and recent sustainability research, it examines how organizations integrate ESG considerations into governance, innovation, and foresight to support long-term value creation and resilience.
