Dr. Sara Pahlevan is an accomplished academic and business educator, specializing in management with a strong focus on teaching and research. She holds a PhD in Management from the University of Barcelona, and her academic career is distinguished by a commitment to innovative pedagogy and impactful scholarship.

Before joining GBSB Global Business School, Dr. Pahlevan gained extensive teaching experience at several higher education institutions, where she delivered courses in areas such as digital business, e-commerce, data analysis, tourism and hospitality management, human resources, and international public relations. She has also supervised over 120 bachelor’s and master’s theses, demonstrating her dedication to student development and academic excellence.

At GBSB Global, Dr. Pahlevan lectures on a range of subjects including accounting, agile fundamentals, and entrepreneurship project management. Dr. Pahlevan’s research interests centre on consumer behaviour, marketing management, and the dynamics of counterfeit product purchasing. Her work has been recognised for its business relevance, most notably as a finalist for the Business Relevance of Marketing Research Award at the XXXV International Marketing Congress, awarded by ESIC University and the Spanish Association of Academic and Professional Marketing (AEMARK).
