Marçal Farreras

Marçal Farreras is an experienced lecturer and executive coach whose academic work bridges business education and real-world leadership. He holds an MBA from IESE Business School, one of Europe’s most prestigious institutions, and has completed executive education at INSEAD, further strengthening his expertise in international business and leadership.
At GBSB Global Business School, Marçal Farreras teaches and mentors students across master’s and MBA programs, with a particular focus on leadership, business research methods, and the management of multicultural teams. He is actively involved in supervising capstone projects and final theses, guiding students through the research process and supporting their academic and professional development.
Drawing on a distinguished career in international business, Marçal Farreras brings practical insight to the classroom, helping students connect theory with the realities of global markets and organizational leadership. His teaching is informed by extensive experience in senior management roles, including positions as Managing Director and Global Marketing Director in the automotive and mobility sectors, as well as his work as a co-founder and director in the food industry.
Marçal Farreras is also committed to fostering innovation and collaboration in higher education. He has participated in international teaching mobility programs, such as the Erasmus+ staff exchange, where he delivered lectures and engaged with faculty at the Estonian Entrepreneurship University of Applied Sciences, promoting cross-cultural learning and global perspectives.
