Dr. Haitham Merhi is an accomplished educator and researcher in marketing, entrepreneurship, and management. Dr. Merhi holds a PhD in Entrepreneurship and Management from Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona, where his doctoral research explored the effect of self-construal on engagement in cause-related marketing campaigns. His academic interests span marketing strategy, digital marketing, and the intersection of business development and social impact. 

With extensive teaching experience, Dr. Merhi serves as a lecturer and instructor at GBSB Global Business School, delivering courses in marketing, management, and information technology. He is recognized for his ability to bridge theory and practice, guiding students in applying academic knowledge to real-world business challenges. 

Dr. Merhi’s research has been presented at international conferences, including the EMAC Annual Conference, and he is actively engaged in consulting and training initiatives that support entrepreneurship and business growth in diverse contexts. His professional background includes roles as a marketing and business development consultant, as well as leadership positions in communications and fundraising for non-profit organizations.
