GBSB Global Business School proudly participated in the 2025 Startup Festival Malta, one of the nation’s most influential events for entrepreneurship and innovation. Representing the school’s G-Accelerator program, the team hosted an engaging booth that attracted government leaders, investors, and startup founders from across Europe.

During the two-day event, the team held strategic meetings with key institutions and ecosystem partners, including Malta Enterprise, the EIT Community, the Malta Digital Innovation Authority (MDIA), the Malta Business Registry (MBR)Tech Malta, and the Chamber of Commerce. They also met with funding mechanisms such as XjenzaTokePortal, and Supercharger. These discussions explored future collaborations and funding opportunities for sustainable, impact-driven startups.

A highlight of the event was the visit of Hon. Silvio Schembri, the Minister of Economy, Enterprise, and Strategic Projects. He stopped by the G-Accelerator stand to meet the team and learn about GBSB Global’s role in fostering a culture of innovation and entrepreneurship in Malta.

The festival also spotlighted the first Maltese cohort of G-Accelerator, whose projects represent the diversity and creativity of the island’s entrepreneurial community:

Reflecting on the event, Xavier Arola, G-Accelerator Director, noted:

“Our participation at Startup Festival Malta reaffirms GBSB Global’s mission to empower entrepreneurs who create meaningful impact. Malta is quickly becoming a Mediterranean hub where innovation, education, and sustainability converge.”
