Schedule and location
In Malta: once a week in the evenings from 17.30 to 20.30 at GBSB Global’s campus in Birkirkara, Malta.
Online: lectures are prerecorded, 24/7 access to the learning platform — study whenever it’s convenient for you.
Certification upon completion
The official certification will be awarded to students only if they meet the following requirements:
- Have earned a Bachelor’s degree (or its equivalent) or higher
- Provide proof of English language proficiency
If you are unable to provide these documents, you may still join the course as a free listener, and receive a certificate of participation.
Check your eligibility for the certification
The entry profile should include one of the following:
- European three-year initial degree or a recognised equivalent at EQF/MQF Level 6 (180 ECTS minimum);
- A foreign undergraduate degree from outside the EHEA equivalent to EQF/MQF Level 6 and 180 ECTS minimum;
Alternative Entry Routes
Alternative entry routes are available for applicants who do not possess the standard entry qualifications but have certain appropriate skills and experience and subject knowledge. These are detailed in the IQA Manual of GBSB Global within the “Policies for Admission of Transfer Students and Recognition of Prior Learning”.
The Admissions Committee may consider applications from suitably qualified students currently attending other universities, applicants who have achieved a lower level award, or applicants seeking admission based on Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL).
Proof of Proficiency in the English Language:
- Native English speaker;
- TOEFL – Minimum score: 232 (computer-based), 90 (internet-based), or 576 (paperbased);
- IELTS – Minimum score: 6.5;
- Cambridge ESOL – Level 1;
- Cambridge CPE and CAE – Minimum score: 176;
- Duolingo English Test (DET) – Minimum score: 120;
- Pearson Test of English (PTE) – Minimum score: 61;
- English as the language of instruction during previous studies in the formal educational system. The student must have completed at least one year of classes taught in English.Taking English language classes alone is not sufficient;
- Internal English proficiency testing at GBSB Global.
NOTE: Formal English proficiency test score certificates must be no older than 2 years.
