The degree
The degree, in plain facts.
The Bachelor of Business Administration and Digital Innovation is a three-year, 180 ECTS degree taught at the GBSB Global campus in Barcelona. Every class is in English, so there is no Spanish-language requirement for the classroom.
The curriculum pairs business administration with digital innovation, and it is modular. Students choose a specialization and can move to a different one during their studies, which matters at eighteen: an early choice does not lock in the next three years.

The methods put students in the position of making a business call and explaining it, which is how a nineteen-year-old builds judgement rather than notes.
Cases and business simulations
Harvard Business School case studies and simulation games ask students to decide, then defend the call in front of classmates who read the same facts differently.
Design thinking and company visits
Design thinking gives students a method for shaping an idea. Annual company visits and on-campus company presentations show how ideas hold up outside a classroom.
Microsoft digital tools
Microsoft digital tools run through the coursework, so digital skills arrive as something practised in teamwork rather than listed on a syllabus.
Specializations
Ten directions, and room to change direction.
Students can switch between specializations during their studies. A choice made at eighteen is a starting point, not a three-year commitment.

After graduation
Career support starts in year one, not in the final term.
Every student gets one-to-one career counselling at no cost, a career portal with employer listings and mock interviews, and the same services as alumni after they graduate. GBSB Global does not guarantee an internship or a job, and the Career Centre says so plainly to students.

About GBSB Global
A business school that started in Barcelona.
GBSB Global is a private business school founded in Barcelona in 2005. Barcelona is where the school began and where this bachelor is taught, on the campus your child would study at.
Two decades on, the classroom holds students from more than 100 countries and faculty from 37 nationalities, all taught in English. Bachelor students arrive at an average age of nineteen, so the room your child joins is full of people at the same point. GBSB Global also holds a QS 5-Star rating.

Is this a recognized degree?
Yes. It is a 180 ECTS bachelor degree, and the Barcelona campus is accredited by the Malta Further and Higher Education Authority. Ask the Admissions team for the current accreditation documents so you can read them yourself.
Does my child need Spanish?
No. Classes, coursework and assessment are 100% in English. Spanish is useful for daily life in Barcelona and for local internships, which is worth raising with Admissions.
What does the application need?
A high school diploma or equivalent, academic transcripts, proof of English, a CV, a motivation letter and a passport copy. Recommendation letters are optional.
What English level is required?
TOEFL from 32, or an equivalent IELTS score. The requirement is waived for native speakers and for students who completed their previous education in English.
Can my child change specialization later?
Yes. Students can switch between specializations during their studies. Ask Admissions how switching affects credits already earned.
What does the whole thing cost?

What about the visa, arrival and accommodation?

Is a job guaranteed after graduation?
No, and GBSB Global does not claim one. Career counselling is free and starts in year one, the career portal stays open after graduation, and the team makes direct referrals to companies. Internships in Spain are competitive, so no internship is guaranteed either.
