He holds a PhD in Economics and Business from Universitat Rovira i Virgili, where his research focused on platform enterprises, SMEs, Industry 5.0, and Innovation 5.0. His scholarly work explores business model innovation within these domains, examining how digital platforms and innovative business models reshape industries, empower SMEs, and drive economic transformation in the context of Industry 5.0.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Afzal has extensive teaching experience at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, having served as a lecturer and associate professor at several international business schools. His teaching portfolio covers a wide range of subjects, including innovation management, entrepreneurship, business strategy, and technology management.
