Dr. Wiktor Patena is an accomplished academic leader and finance expert, bringing over two decades of international experience in higher education and corporate finance to GBSB Global. Renowned for his strategic vision and hands-on approach, Dr. Patena has held senior management roles in leading institutions across Poland, the UAE, and Europe, including Provost, Executive Dean, and Division Chair, where he successfully managed academic teams of up to 200 professors and student bodies exceeding 7,000. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Patena\u2019s expertise spans the full spectrum of finance education, from undergraduate to MBA and executive programs. He has designed and delivered courses in Entrepreneurial Finance, Bank Management, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Corporate Finance, and Company Valuation, consistently integrating cutting-edge research and practical insights into his teaching. His commitment to academic excellence is reflected in his extensive supervision record, having guided nearly 180 bachelor\u2019s and master\u2019s theses to completion. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

A prolific scholar, Dr. Patena is the author of several influential books on company valuation and banking, and has published numerous peer-reviewed articles in international journals, including Scopus-indexed works on financial literacy, exchange rates, and corporate performance. His research has been recognized with grants from the Polish National Science Centre and Norway Grants, and he has presented at major conferences in Rome, Paris, Dubai, and beyond. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Dr. Patena\u2019s impact extends beyond academia. As a co-founder and CEO of a financial consultancy, he has advised the Polish Ministry of Treasury on over 70 business appraisals, served as an expert before the International Criminal Court in The Hague, and contributed to professional organizations such as the Association of Business Appraisers in Poland. His leadership in accreditation processes was instrumental in securing AACSB accreditation for the Higher Colleges of Technology Business School in 2023. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

With a Doctorate in Economics, an MBA with distinction from the University of Hull, and a Master\u2019s in Information Science, Dr. Patena combines rigorous academic credentials with a global perspective. His teaching experience spans top universities in Germany, Denmark, France, Hungary, Portugal, Latvia, and Cyprus, enriching his classroom with diverse international insights. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
