G-Accelerator Impact Call Program, as part of the Entrepreneurship Center, an international hub dedicated to supporting and fostering innovation and entrepreneurship through a wide range of services offered to students and alumni by GBSB Global Business School, has been selected as one of the pre-accelerator programs for the upcoming Programa Primer Demo Day 2023, a premier event hosted by the Generalitat of Catalunya. G-Accelerator has secured four spots out of 20 pre-selected projects, demonstrating the outstanding innovation fostered within our community.
The Programa Primer Demo Day will showcase the most innovative ventures from pre-accelerator programs and take place on December 13th at Aticco Bogatell (Barcelona), featuring presentations from top projects across various pre-acceleration programs. The event, led by Quino Fernández, CEO, and Co-founder of AticcoLab, will feature presentations from top projects, with a jury of experts choosing the six best ventures. The selected projects will have the opportunity to present their ideas at the Generalitat de Catalunya and ACCIÓ stand at the 4YFN during the Mobile World Congress.
Out of the 26 pre-accelerators in Catalonia, G-Accelerator has secured four project spots among the pre-selected 20, positioning us as a key player in the vibrant entrepreneurial ecosystem, namely:
Petinder: the online platform and search engine giving free visibility to animal shelters to raise awareness in society about their location and/or how to adopt a pet. It is also a pet-loving community where users can interact, share experiences, and support each other in pet ownership.
Rural Connect: the initiative creating links between students and professional institutions promoting repopulation of the rural environment; increases the local services and resources' proximity for micro-villages in rural Spain.
Onco Health Hub: the platform that supports companies on cancer management, addresses the side effects caused by different treatments in cancer patients, helping them to improve their quality of life and giving them resources to normalize their day-to-day lives.
SHARE+: a passion-driven project, offering a novel approach to restructure the organs transplant system with advanced optimization software and groundbreaking transportation devices which help to reduce waiting queue lists timing.
